What are your hours?
Monday through Thursday from 8a.m. until 4:30p.m. (EST)
Do you prorate storage?
We do not prorate storage. Evidence will be stored for one year. When the storage comes due, you will receive a Storage Renewal Request to indicate whether you would like us to continue storage, return the evidence, or dispose of the evidence. Please note: we are not able to return or dispose of evidence until all outstanding invoices are paid.
How do I schedule a joint inspection?
Contact our Customer Service Department at (865) 482-8480 to have the proper forms emailed to you.
How is the chain of custody preserved during the shipping and inspection process?
The chain of custody begins when an item is picked up by one of our bonded and insured freight companies. When we receive the evidence, it is inventoried, photographed, and entered into our database. The item is then placed in one of our secure storage rooms. Anyone handling the evidence must electronically check it out and check it back in.
All evidence is kept in secure storage until a written request is submitted advising us to return or dispose of the evidence. Please note: we are not able to return or dispose of evidence until all outstanding invoices are paid.
A chain of custody form is maintained in the event the evidence is moved from our facility to another. A DPI representative is always present during joint inspections.
